The device should be designed in such a manner that it can operate efficiently under the illumination of the most commonly used indoor light sources.
Thus, recent enormous progress in indoor photovoltaics prompts us to highlight the applicability of all three generations of solar cells i.e., crystalline silicon, amorphous silicon and thin films, and organic/dye-sensitized/perovskites working under indoor conditions, challenges and market perspectives in this review. 1.
